We are very pleased to have been selected via competition to design a significant new building for Swan Valley Anglican Community School in Averley.

Several of our key education design team – including Directors Eamon Broderick and Leigh Robinson and Associate Director Charmaine Woods – collaborated with school Principal Melissa Powell over a period of several weeks prior to a presentation to the School Board.

TRCB’s design takes advantage of beautiful views over the adjacent lake and the Darling Range beyond and provides a new library, GLA’s, art and ICT spaces as well as a new staff room on the upper floor.

The building has been designed for a long life span and its flexible structural grid acknowledges that the only certainty is that education will change over time and therefore our buildings need to be easily adaptable 10, 20 or 50 years from now.

A contemporary learning environment of interconnected spaces over three levels and filled with daylight; this building and its landscaped setting will provide an exciting new focal point for the whole school.
